Where there is Smoke, There is Fire

From the time I woke this morning, all I’ve been hearing is, “Did you see what they’re doing in Baltimore?” Although I will never condone that act of destroying property as an avenue for protesting; I will say, “Where there is smoke, there is fire”. What’s next?  I know, let’s blame the mayor; as former Los Angeles detective Mark Furman said, “It’s very clear that she was trying to give all these protesters-slash-rioters a chance to blow off steam and then stop. It didn’t happen, “he said. Imagine this, people rioting, stemming from a legitimate grievance; the reactionary behavior is wrong but the grievance is still VALID! That leads me to believe that people who have been labeled as “Terrorist”, could be displaying the wrong reactionary behavior to a VALID grievance. Speaking of grievances, I wonder what is ISIS's grievance? They also could have a VALID grievance but are definitely exhibiting the wrong reactionary behavior for it. By the way, the last time that Mark Furman was on the side of justice, wasn't he preoccupied with planting evidence and committing perjury?

America, let me say it again, “America, here’s an idea, let’s try something new”. You see, rioting is the spoiled fruit of the grievance (No regard for Black Life); why continue to address the fruit and never get to the root? America has been notorious with bringing in the troops to address the fruit of a grievance; why not bring the troops in to address the grievance (No regard for Black Life)?

If I’m being shown through experience, social media and interaction with certain law enforcement officers, that my life can be taken for something as small as making eye contact and running; would it be unimaginable to think that I don’t care about the safety of a store, church building, local smoke shop or nearest CVS Pharmacy store?  When I see that my life has value, maybe I will see value in the stores that you rebuild with insurance money.
