Diane Sawyer must be Running out of Topics

I truly believe that I have intentionally avoided a certain issue due to the fear of the backlash I would receive. But last night I was fortunate enough to watch the Diane Sawyer special on Bruce Jenner and that was my indicator to write this post.

When a grown man is glamorized on a prime time network, to discuss his choice to become a woman and we applaud his announcement as if he was a war veteran, we have lost our way. I’ve grown weary of walking on eggshells due to my fear of offending the same sex gender; so this is my coming out party! Diane Sawyer must be hard-up for interviews these days or she’s just a puppet, responding to someone else pulling the strings for a much larger agenda than increasing viewer ratings. I do believe that our country is in a state of confusion. We don’t know if we would rather be the woman in high heels or the gangster in black with an AK-47. It is as if our entire country is being hijacked by individuals who won’t rest until the strong moral fibers that have brought this nation prosperity beyond recognition, has been reduced, resembling a polyester sweater from 1971, that is being sold at Goodwill for a fraction of the cost. Diane Sawyer went as far as to call Bruce Jenner a hero!

Some people have stated that they were born gay, as if there is a gay gene in their DNA. If that is a fact instead of a cop-out, in order to numb one’s conscience from conviction; how can 2 gay men reproduce that gene? They can’t and if that is not possible, why does the number of the “Alternative Lifestyle population increase? Shouldn’t that gene have died off by now? America seems unsatisfied with limitations so much so, that the wild life kingdom may be in danger of being tampered with, by humans forsaking natural affection for humans, to engage in foreplay with animals.

By the way, I’m not struggling with homophobia or insinuating that I hate homosexuals, BUT I don’t condone their choice to act on a perverted sexual desire. Does that mean I cannot love a homosexual? Absolutely not! I have a son who smokes cigarettes and marijuana; even though I don’t condone his choice to self medicate, that does not mean that I’ve decided to no longer love him.

NEWSFLASH- People can disagree without being hateful, people can choose to not subscribe to a certain lifestyle and at the same time, demonstrate love for the person involved in that lifestyle.
