Take a close look at the picture above and tell
me what you see. On all accounts, you might see a man on a knee, proposing to
his potential wife. As you look at the
woman, you can sense a feeling of awe; knowing that this could very well be the
“One”. It gives off the concept of a “Real Man” offering an engagement ring to
the woman who has captivated his heart.
But after close examination, there is another
perspective taking place; you can see the woman in a dark silhouette while the
man is nothing more than a shadow. The main person in the picture is a little boy
in a dark silhouette, holding out his hand with nothing in it. The woman
appears to be attracted to the shadow of the man, who holds out the ring BUT to
this woman’s surprise, she’s about to enter into a marriage with the little
boy. As the woman fixates her attention, gazing into the eyes of the silhouette
of this man, she fails to realize that the little boy has nothing in his hand
and he will be the one she walks down the aisle with to exchange wedding vows.
If you took the time to read this post, this
book is for you! You see, somewhere down the we all have a little girl or boy
that has been wounded and instead of allowing him/her to heal, we seldom bury
the wound and desperately hope that the wounds will heal on their own. Don’t
take my word for it; READ THE BOOK!
