What's With the Mean Mug?

Image result for picture of a mean face
Since I have not made it Big as a writer; I’ve had the pleasure of going to work 8-10 hrs daily. I work at a psychiatric facility, so every day is an adventure. One thing I can tell you is, there are a lot of hurting people. After spending 8-10 hrs at work, it is very easy to get snippy or quickly agitated. What I don’t understand is how can a person come to work mad on a daily basis? Like before they even walk in to the building, their face is frowning. It leaves me to wonder, what happen to them while driving to work? Then I’m like, “Forget the drive, what happen at home with them?” After that, I’m like; “I’m glad I don’t have to go home with them!”

But let’s not be naïve, there are some people who choose to NEVER have a good day. They are gifted with the talent of “Out telling your misery”. If they hear that your mother died; they’ll be like, “You think that’s something, my mama and dog died, plus the roaches ate my Subway sandwich!” Around these types of people, you better have enough sense to not share any good news with them, because they seem allergic to it. So what am I getting at? If a person gets paid to be professional and comes to work sour on a daily basis; I wonder what they act like when they are at home.
But instead of bashing the “Mean Mugger”, we must remember that a person must really be hurting bad inside to display such negativity. Don’t make the “Mean Mugger’s issue your issue; but place them before the Lord, asking;
Lord I know this person is having a rough time. I’m asking that you shower them with your love until it soothes the areas of their heart that have been damaged and broken. Release them to experience your joy, that doesn’t depend on circumstances or people but on the finished work of your Son, Jesus Christ, Amen
